Words From the President |
How many times has a patient stated they had their teeth cleaned and examined about a year ago when in fact upon checking we found it was really 3 or 4 years. Time is fleeting as we age. This reflection on time can be just as relevant when we focus on our participation in our dental profession. Do we say I'll go to Law Day next year or I'll miss just this meeting and pretty soon a year or two has gone by without doing anything. We all lead busy lives, its easy to do. Please do several things to help dentistry and also have a good time doing it . Call Jay Harrignton and sign up for Law Day, February 15th. We have some important issues, before the Legislature this year. Your help is needed. Also the Tri-District meeting is coming May 12 - 15th at Hilton Head. This is a wonderful venue with the beach, shopping, golf and more. A lot of work is being done by your President-Elect Don Spillers. We promise a good time as well as terrific C.E. Remember to sign up before the deadline for the meeting at WRAFB Feb. 24th. Same day signings are not permitted due to security measures at the base. Don't miss a good evening of fellowship and C.E. by Lt. Col. Randy McDaniel on "Orofacial Pain". I hope each of you will consider participating in these worthwhile events. If you haven't been attending, we miss you. Help us to remain a strong CDDS and a voice in the GDA. Respectfully, Craig McCroba |

Please call Don Spillers if you are interested in serving. -Any member with dental care in a Nursing Home environment that would like to be added to the Nursing Home Task Force, please call Craig McCroba or Don Spillers. -Some of the major insurance companies will be sending out letters of intent to sign you up for the new Medicare Plan to be managed by these companies.
